HELP SUPPORT THE RACE
HOST RACERS
What is a housing host?
Tour de Bloom attracts riders from all over the United States and beyond. Host homes provide a bed space (couch or air mattress is fine) for each rider, kitchen privileges and refrigerator space as well as garage or other safekeeping space for bicycles. Whether you can host one or two riders, or whether you and your neighbors can host a team of 6 or 8; we want to hear from you!
Who: The Tour de Bloom Stage Race is searching for families in the Wenatchee Area who would like to host riders for the race!
What: Host housing is needed for men’s, women’s and junior bicycle racing teams competing at the Tour de Bloom Stage Race – This is an opportunity to help racers striving to fulfill dreams in bike racing.
When: Race Dates May 2 -5, 2024 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Teams typically arrive Wednesday and leave Sunday or Monday.
We are in search of “hosts” who live within the greater Wenatchee area. Opportunities exist to host members from men’s and women’s and junior teams.
Host homes ARE NOT expected to provide transportation or food. Teams/individuals will provide their own transportation and meals. However, many hosts do like to provide some shared meals, but are not expected to do so. Host families are encouraged to engage with their guest racers, as experience shows that involved host families find the experience most rewarding when they connect with their guests.
